I didn't see him the rest of the day. Or the next day. I wondered about him during the weekend and was glad to see him on Monday!

Fifth period rolled around. The lights were off in the science room and the teacher was showing a video about fossils on the projector. The boy ignored Travis as he kicked his chair, mockingly. He did it again. And again. Harder and harder.

Travis was being a pain in the ass. Again. "Hey freak, check out my phone. Its brand new, I got it yesterday." The boy ignored him.

"Hey freak, I'm talking to you!" Travis kicked his chair again. I rolled my eyes. "Could you be any louder, Travis?" I hissed, pretending to be having difficulty concentrating.

"Actually maybe I'm too quiet. Deaf dude over here doesn't have ears or a brain!" He snarled, loud enough for the teacher to hear.

"Travis, are you watching the video?" Mr. Harvard asked. Surprised, Travis gave him a blank look. He didn't expect the teacher to hear him. "Travis, do I need to move you?"

"Yes, please!" I called. The class laughed. "Travis come sit in the front, please." The teacher tapped on the desk closest to him.

Travis glared at me and gave one last kick to the boy's chair as he sulked away.
The boy kept his gaze on me for a second longer. Out of the corner of my eye, I couldn't read what was on his face.

In history, I did my bookwork, copying down definitions. A test was coming up, and it was going to be a hard one. I realized the boy was looking at me. I ignored him and continued my work. I felt his gaze on me for what felt like centuries!

The school secretary came in halfway through class and handed a note to the teacher. The teacher nodded and motioned to the boy next to me. I saw the note, it was yellow. It was a note from the guidance counselors' office. The boy didn't get up.

The teacher gave him a look that said, "Get your ass over here, now." Not having nay notebooks or backpack to pick up, he rose out of his seat and followed the secretary out of the room.

I watched him go.
Lol, guidance counselor's office! Next part transfers to the boy's perspective for a little bit! :D
